The Picker Wheel turns a list of names or options into a visual random draw. Use it when a team needs one clear result without a long debate, from choosing the next presenter to drawing a giveaway winner.
Entries are processed in your browser. You can keep every option available, remove each winner after selection, review recent picks, or put the list in a shareable URL for another person to open.

How selection works
A winner is selected from the current list before the animation begins. The wheel then rotates so that entry lands at the pointer; animation length does not change the result.
Repeat or no-repeat draws
Leave “Remove the winner” on for assignments without replacement. Turn it off when every spin should include the full list again.
Sharing a prepared wheel
Copy link stores the entries in the URL so the recipient opens the same list. Avoid putting confidential names or information in a URL that may be saved in history or shared onward.
Practical tips for better results
- Use unique, clearly distinguishable labels; duplicate entries are combined.
- Confirm the final list aloud before a consequential draw.

Is the online Picker Wheel random?
The tool uses the browser’s cryptographic random-number generator when available and selects each current entry with equal probability. It is suitable for everyday team choices, games, and informal draws, but it is not a certified lottery system.
Can the same person be picked twice?
Yes if “Remove the winner after each spin” is off. Keep that option on to remove each selected entry and prevent another pick from the remaining rounds.
Are names uploaded or saved?
The wheel runs in your browser and does not send entries to the application server. If you use Copy link, the names are included in the URL and can be seen by anyone who receives it.
