Audio Studio

Cut, join, and split audio, remove vocals, make ringtones, and record your voice—right in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, and there is nothing to install.

Your audio stays on your device. No account needed.

What do you want to do?

Each tool does one job well. Find your task below and open the matching tool. Recorded and generated clips can be sent straight to the Audio Trimmer, so you can move between tools without saving in-between files.

Common audio workflows

Bigger jobs are usually a few simple steps in a row. Save as WAV or FLAC between steps if you plan to edit again, and compress to MP3 or M4A only at the end.

Which format should I save as?

Lossy formats such as MP3, M4A, and OGG make small files by discarding detail you are unlikely to hear. Lossless formats such as WAV and FLAC keep every sample, which matters when a file will be edited again.

MP3
Sharing, podcasts, and playback almost anywhere. Saved at 192 kbps, about 1.4 MB per minute.
M4A (AAC)
Apple devices and video projects. Similar quality to MP3 at the same bitrate.
WAV
Further editing and maximum compatibility. Uncompressed 16-bit, about 10 MB per stereo minute.
FLAC
Archiving without any quality loss, usually around half the size of WAV.
OGG (Vorbis)
Open format for games, Android sounds, and web projects.
M4R
iPhone ringtones only: AAC audio, 40 seconds maximum.

Private by design

Audio is processed with the Web Audio API and WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Your songs, recordings, and interviews are not sent to a server, and they are cleared when you close or refresh the page unless you download a result.

Good to know

  • Less common input formats, and every output format except WAV, load an audio converter the first time. Later saves are faster.
  • Vocal removal downloads an AI model of about 172 MB once and can take several minutes per song.
  • Editing never changes your original file. Only the results you download are new files.

Frequently asked questions

Are my audio files uploaded?

No. Files are decoded, edited, and encoded in your browser tab. The only downloads are the tools themselves: the audio converter the first time a format needs it, and the vocal separation model the first time you remove vocals.

Which audio formats can I open?

MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, and Opus open in the editing tools, along with AIFF, WMA, AMR, AC3, and the audio from many MP4, MOV, MKV, and WebM videos. Damaged or copy-protected files cannot be opened.

How long can my audio be?

Files can be up to 128 MB. For editing, audio is expanded to uncompressed samples and limited to 256 MB of memory, which is roughly 11–12 minutes of stereo or 23–25 minutes of mono. Vocal removal accepts up to 10 minutes.

Do the tools work on phones?

Cutting, merging, splitting, recording, and tone generation are designed to work in modern mobile browsers. Vocal removal needs a lot of memory and processing power, so it works best on a desktop or laptop.

Is there a watermark or sign-up?

No. All audio tools are free to use without an account, and saved files contain only your audio.
