CompressNConvert is designed to process your input locally in your browser wherever practical. When a feature requires server-side functionality, only the data needed to perform that task is sent to our service.
Server-side processing and retention
Data sent to our service is used only to complete the requested processing. It is retained only for as long as the task requires and deleted as soon as reasonably possible after processing is complete. We do not sell personal information or use tool input for advertising.
Service logs
Requests to the website or its services may create limited technical logs, including details such as the request path, response status, processing time, request identifier, and IP address. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation.
Data stored in your browser
CompressNConvert may use local browser storage to remember interface preferences and restore work between visits. This information stays in that browser, is not synchronized to an account, and can be removed by clearing the site's stored data.
Microphone and local media access
Audio recording starts only after you choose to grant microphone permission. Microphone input, uploaded audio, previews, and generated media are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our service. Your browser or operating system settings can revoke microphone access at any time.
Third-party tracking
CompressNConvert does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. Your tool input is not shared with third parties for analytics or advertising.
